The Sky Does Not Forgive: When the Dream Shatters

Accidents, training, and memory: what the tragedies of April 2026 teach us Aviation is a world of dreams that defy gravity. But when those dreams shatter, the silence that follows is deafening. April 2026 has come to an end, leaving behind a heavy trail and a deep sense of helplessness. A toll that shakes the industry and reminds us how far we still are from the “Vision Zero” outlined by ICAO. Despite increasingly advanced technologies and rigorous safety protocols, reality continues to impose a simple truth: risk can never be completely eliminated. From the highlands of South Sudan to the forests of Indonesia, April saw lives and engines fall silent with a frequency that deeply affects those who live aviation as a mission, not just a profession. A Memory That Resurfaces Yet it is the accident on April 29 in Parafield, Australia, that strikes me the most because it brings back a memory that never truly fades. On that day, a Di...

Training: Why the "Three Women, a Single Sky" Series Was Born

The sky is not an empty space. Anyone working in this sector knows that the space above our heads is, in reality, a dense ecosystem of rules, cutting-edge technology, and human responsibility. Often, however, those looking up from the ground only see a passing aircraft, without perceiving the invisible balance that sustains it.

It is from this awareness that my new editorial project, "Three Women, a Single Sky", is born.

A Technical Narrative, Not Just Literature

The goal of this series is not to offer a simple novel, but a technical narrative. Through the stories of three professionals, we will enter the operational heart of aviation:

  • Ava: Navigating the transition from military to civil piloting, where a tactical mindset must merge with airline standard operating procedures.
  • Sofia: The world of the hangars, where mechanical engineering and maintenance ensure the airworthiness of complex machines.
  • Isabella: Cabin safety too often reduced to simple service, yet representing the final bulwark for passenger protection.

Volume One: The Training

In this first book, we explore the foundations. Without rigorous and continuous training, safety does not exist. We follow the protagonists as they face daily challenges, analyze historical accidents, and integrate new technological platforms.

Aviation is a sector where the "behind the scenes" is as fascinating as flight itself. With this series, I want to pay tribute to those who dedicate their lives to this profession, carrying a weight that is invisible every day: the weight of responsibility.
